The Team

img_2075Elaine Ronson, Director, ArtKapsule US

A former journalist and arts editor, Elaine Ronson worked for Time Out magazine in London for ten years, attaining the position of Features Editor. During that time the magazine was a foremost supporter of the (then controversial) Young British Artists (YBAs), culminating in the magazine’s sponsorship of Charles Saatchi’s 1997 Sensation exhibition at the Royal Academy, London. Elaine left Time Out in 1998 to work on the launch of Metro, London’s successful daily newspaper, formulating the Arts review pages for the London and subsequent UK editions. In 2012 Elaine and artist Sirpa Pajunen-Moghissi launched ArtKapsule in London to stage exhibitions of contemporary art in design-led spaces. Elaine Ronson subsequently moved to New York City where she launched ArtKapsule US in 2014 as a private consultancy. Elaine Ronson graduated from Glasgow University with an MA Honors degree in English Literature and History.
