Elaine Ronson and co-founder Sirpa Pajunen-Moghissi launched ArtKapsule in London, 2012 with the aim of demonstrating to a design-savvy audience how challenging contemporary art can energize residential and corporate environments. Working with emerging and established artists and Turkish design giant Koleksiyon, ArtKapsule ran a two-year series of exhibitions showcasing new art of all media in Koleksiyon’s 8,000 sq ft showroom in London’s Clerkenwell district.
When Elaine moved with her family to New York City in 2013, she launched a US branch of ArtKapsule focusing on private clients, from newcomers to the market to experienced collectors making strategic acquisitions. The US and UK arms of ArtKapsule continue to work together to leverage long-standing art world connections on our clients’ behalf.
Elaine has 15 years’ experience as and Arts and Features Editor on London publications Time Out and Metro newspaper during which time she worked on collaborative editorial projects with young artists who came to be known as the YBA’s (Young British Artists – a group of contemporaries that includes Tracey Emin, Damien Hirst and Sarah Lucas). Elaine lives in Upper West Side, New York City.
Sirpa is an artist, curator and former art educator. She has an MA in Fine Arts from Middlesex University and has exhibited extensively in the UK and Europe. Sirpa grew up in Finland where her mother was also an artist. She lives in North London.
ArtKapsule’s consultancy service is transparently priced and offers clients the opportunity to access a range of services. Our priority is to create an exciting art-buying experience for our busy clients, fulfilling their needs at every stage of the acquisition process while also offering opportunities to learn more and meet other collectors and artists through a range of curated events.
ArtKapsule is dedicated to helping art lovers get the most out of their engagement with contemporary art.
